Yeah, that's a tracking thing gone wrong, it was going to be a java thing would that let to go back according to a catagory (news, guide etc.) and cached the visited pages in the address bar by changing the hrefs accordingly - but it's broke so i'll fix it another time

Probably BT leasing off Pipex (Pipex own a lot of bandwidth etc.).

It's not strictly a Pipex ADSL IP address, that's 81.86.xx.xx

If you'd retyped the link in your post, people may actually have visited Smile

By the way, I checked the code, and the forum HAS to be on its own address, as most of the links point to paths based off "/"

Why do you want another forum for bishopston anyway ? Is it because this one is oh so busy ? Laugh Out Loud

I've got something i'd like you to try out - a radio playing thingy here - http://www.broadband.bishopston.com/radio/ for WINDOWS user (sorry jamie). I know it's a bit shoddy at the moment but could you give me some feedback to help improve it? (Only the Pop music bit works at the moment)

Cheers,
Dan

Yeah.. Looks good, though I don't know why you didn't use that code I gave you which used CSS to make the top "menu" static (i.e. the effect you achieved with frames, but without using frames)

Actually I'll rephrase that - the 'youth' of today have a funny idea of what dance is...

They generally think it's that awful crappy cheesy muck that hits radio stations and the charts Sad

I don't think so -- without CGI scripting which is just an automated way to produce the same html you are producing manually.

Can you supply a 'playlist' to media player via that code, I suppose you're asking, and my answer is "don't know!"

sorry, ask Tim ... About time he helped with your site Laugh Out Loud

No, I was wondering whether it would be possible to have one page with the player on and let the "src" change depending in which radio station was chosen?

Well, javascript can manipulate ANY html tag value, using the DOM.. That's easy enough...

I think I'm not quite sure what you're on about though!
