Post subject:  New Speed Camera for Bishopston!
Posted from: Wales Reply with quote

You may have noticed that new pole that's been put up near my house.... Well, I've found out for sure it's going to be used for a speed camera..

Not a SPEEDING camera - but one of those that records and displays your speed.

The speed will be recorded, and used for stats etc. and presumably potential evidence to see if a proper speed camera, or increased police presence IS required, but the camera itself does not record evidence of your vehicle, or fine you.

If you actually drive along there today, you'll see a temporary portable version they have up for the day only.

They have been putting one occasionally outside cryg-y-nos too, inside the 30 zone, so keep an eye out.

Hi TIm, wb! e2e2

I've only seen this once, and that time there was a woman standing behind the van blocking their view of the road Laugh Out Loud

Don't forget the one that occasionally appears in Kittle just past the shops and after the road passes some fields.
