How far afield is this happening ?
Who here is affected ?
From about the beginning of the year, from about 1am to 6am (seems to be 2am to 7am saturday night, but I'm not entirely sure) the water pressure drops significantly, so much so, that there isn't enough water to feed our normally ok shower.
I assumed the water board were doing work, but it's been over 5 months now!

Can't tell you, my shower's on a different system... it draws water from the main water system and pushes it through itself. Yay. Why don't you just have a bath? |

Perhaps you just shouldn't shower between those times, like a normal person |

I found this -
Scroll down to "Water Pressure"
http://www.dwrcymru.com/English/domestic%20customers/our%20commitment%20to%20you/» standards%20of%20service%20at%20a%20glance/contents.asp
Their "certain limit" is 7 meters static head, twice withn two weeks, unless they're maintaining the pipes.
I've found the "Complaints officer's" adddress -
Customer Complaints Officer
Welsh Water,
Po box 8,
Nelson,
CF46 6YG.
I would expect it's just them shutting down the pumps during the night as there is less useage (although i've found nothing to back this up), and as people beging to wake up they up the power for the millions of cups of tea being made.
Also something strange, while looking through their C,O,Ps it says that their allowed to use explosives while laying pipes! |
